Play Reading Circle
Bookworm now holds the Play Reading Circle in the online mode (zoom) once every fortnight. The session is facilitated by Karan Bhagat. The Play Reading Circle is open to all above the age of 18 years and is free of charge. During the meeting, the attendees read through the play aloud, assigning parts among themselves and varying these where possible over the course of the session. After reading through the play, they will briefly share their impressions with the group. These meetings provide an excellent opportunity to get to know the works of a variety of playwrights as also to understand the potential that a play may have for staging.
Newsletter
Bookworm has initiated a quarterly physical newsletter, for cross circulation amongst library people in the country with an aim to keep the discussion and readings around libraries critical to our work. The newsletter is called ‘Bookworms Beyond Borders’ and is bi-lingual (English and Hindi). Each newsletter will focus on a library theme and will have content aligning to the theme.
