If you don’t see a role on our job board that fits your profile, we still encourage you to write to us. Bookworm is always interested in hearing from people who are curious, committed, and keen to work with children, books, libraries, communities, or ideas around learning and reading. There is no bar on qualification, discipline, or years of experience – what matters most to us is your intent, openness to learn, and alignment with our values. Many roles at Bookworm evolve organically as our work grows, and we often reach out when a new need emerges. If you believe your skills, interests, or questions belong here, do apply. We read every application with care.
Bookworm welcomes applications from people across caste and social backgrounds, including Dalit, Bahujan and Adivasi communities. We recognise that access to education, English fluency, professional networks and formal work experience is unequal. We value skills gained through community work, lived experience, volunteering and other paths, and assess applicants against the needs of the role.
