The dialogue in the first act of the play has been hailed by some critics as some of the greatest in all of the American theatre. The play examines the breakdown of the marriage of a middle-aged couple, Martha and George. Late one evening, after a university faculty party, they receive an unwitting younger couple, Nick and Honey, as guests, and draw them into their bitter and frustrated relationship.
Our Readers’ Theatre for adults will be facilitated by Raj Dutta and the session is free and open to all above the age of 18 years.
