In association with the Alliance Francaise Panjim, the Bookworm Library is thrilled to invite you to an illustration workshop for children (ages 7-15), and for an interaction (open to all ages) with French author-illustrator of children’s books, Satomi Ichikawa – on Tuesday, the 1st of December, at 4:30 p.m. at the Bookworm Library.
The Workshop, titled ‘Animal Voices’, would be specifically for a younger audience, but all those interested in fine art, illustration, children’s literature, and foreign languages are welcome. It will be a rich interaction.

About the Author:
Born in 1949 in Japan, Satomi Ichikawa moved to Paris one day, not knowing yet she would want to stay forever, nor that drawing would be her passion. After seeing a beautiful illustrated book in the window of a bookshop, she had a revelation. Since then, she writes and illustrates exquisite children’s books, translated into 8 languages. A doll collector and dancer, she travels the world to stay inspired.
