Of shopping and selling

Written by Barkha

I am loud, I can shout-

I can convince you about.

I can sell, I can tell

I know what will suit you well…

I sold for a day,

Fine shoes and those with use-

High heels and blocks,

Pencil ones for the shocks.

Never did I think,

That there was much joy

In selling clothing, household, toy

to the beautiful girl and boy…

At the Carnival I did some sales-

Then came some Sunday event mails

Asking for BW’s lovely ladies

To spread the magic tales

We brought our books and toys,

Games and clothes and more

Lovely food to calm the senses

And we started with a roar!

This one’s a pretty bad one,

Each time it leaves me wanting more than the last one.

Every Sunday brings more children and smiles

And a little more to help us awhile

Here’s thanking everyone out there

Who has given us so much to share-

With all the children who continue to read

As we experience how much you really care…
