A new year has begun with new hopes and aspirations for everyone. We, at Bookworm have started our new year on a high note too. Yes, it is that time of the year again…Our Annual Bookworm Jumble Sale is back with super power.
As is evident to all, this jumble helps us raise money to raise readers. There are countless less privileged children who have little or no access to books of any sort. Bookworm is striving hard and struggling to make reading accessible to as many children as possible.
Our lives today have become fast and busy and all about getting ahead but as Albert Einstein once said “Try not to become a man of success but rather try to become a man of value.” How can one become a man of value? Simply by reaching out and caring for others. There are so many ways by which one can be of service to our community. One of these many ways is by donating a little something to the jumble.
Something that is lying in our houses and is no longer of use to us may be of use to someone else. By donating it to jumble, one can be of great service to somebody. By coming to buy at the Jumble, you complete the circle of giving and receiving.
