Bindi Su – Art illustrations by Milan Khanolkar, is Bookworm’s first picture book for children. The book was launched at the new Bookworm Library space in Taleigao by Milan, together with young bookworm’s who sat in Bindi Su, crafted Bindi Su and talked to Milan about illustrations and drawings.
Bindi Su is the first of picture books, published by Bookworm, that aims to bring high quality illustrations and Goa centric texts to the children who are beginning to read and gaining confidence in reading within the State. The mission is to build on content that is culturally rich and alive to children and legitimise it in books that grow readers.
